The Pittsburgh Penguins have been a disappointment once again this season, as the Kyle Dubas-era is off and running, but unfortunately in the wrong direction. Dubas has made some questionable decisions since taking over the team, and now he has a mess to clean up ahead of the 2025 trade deadline.Three Penguins who are rumored to be involved in ongoing trade talks include:Erik KarlssonIf Dubas will retain 20% of Karlsson's remaining contract, teams will bite on the veteran defenseman. Karlsson showed at the 4 Nations Face-Off he still has the game for big-time moments, and with a thin blueline market, Dubas has a chance to cash in on his mistake. Karlsson has recorded 43 points in 62 games this season and is owed $10 million AAV for two more seasons. He has a no-move clause but is reportedly open to moving on to a contender. Matt GrzelcykGrzelcyk is a pending free agent who could fetch a mid-round pick and mid-level prospect, and with the Penguins on the outside looking in at the playoff picture, Dubas mid as well add as many assets as he can before Friday. Grzelcyk is a great option to quarterback a second power-play on a contending team, and has 29 points in 62 games this year, making $2.75 million AAV. The 31-year-old former Boston Bruin doesn't have any trade protection on his contract, and is expected to be dealt.Anthony BeauvillierThe speedy winger is also a pending UFA and is on his way out of Pittsburgh before Friday. He's a prime trade candidate, showing off his elite speed and finishing abilities this season, with 13 goals in 61 games. The asking price won't be significant, as Beauvillier is a 5-on-5 player, and doesn't see much time on special teams. At $1.2 million, there will be plenty of interest and Dubas shouldn't have any issues moving the 27-year-old.Photo credit:  Charles LeClaire-Imagn Images...
