They must be drinking the moonshine. Fresh off another infuriating late regulation loss in Chicago, the Islanders are now in Carolina to take on the Hurricanes — normally a dreadful fixture on the schedule, though last meeting they somehow shocked us.
Per Anthony Gross per Patrick Roy, Anthony Duclair skated in the morning but will not be in the lineup. Bo Horvat, who missed the loss in Chicago after leaving the prior game early, is a gametime decision. Ilya Sorokin will make his 9th straight start, with Semyon Varlamov still unavailable.
