The Ottawa Senators Want To Play Their Home Games With Fans At The Games

Enough is enough, the Ottawa Senators want their fans back.
The Senators suited up for their third straight game at the Canadian Tire Centre Thursday against the Carolina Hurricanes without anybody there and the club is taking an aggressive approach to try to get capacity limits lifted.
Senators’ owner Eugene Melnyk told this newspaper Tuesday he’s held talks with provincial officials to try to allow spectators in the rink.
“It’s sad. I don’t know who the people are that come up with these rules,” said Melnyk. “They’re misinformed and they’re miscalculated. They should be challenged, and they will be challenged.”
Speaking on The Morning Rush with Bill Caroll on CFRA Thursday, Anthony LeBlanc, the club’s president of business operations, said the Senators would like to be back at 100% capacity and don’t feel the current measures are fair.
