After finishing 29th in the NHL in goal scoring, the Seattle Kraken are known to be desperate to improve their offense this summer, and are looking at any and all possibilities to make that happen. On the trade market, Kraken GM Ron Francis is "pushing for a goal-scoring forward," reports insider David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period, and he ties Seattle to three big names:Martin NecasThe Carolina Hurricanes restricted free agent is seen as the most likely player to be dealt in the coming days, as he (and his father) have made it clear that he wants to get a fresh start elsewhere after his role and production took a dip this past season. With Seattle, naturally, Necas would have a huge uptick in responsibility on the offensive end of things, and it seems like an ideal fit. Could the Kraken even be one of the teams thought to be preparing an offer sheet for the Canes' young forward?Patrik LaineEveryone is aware that a change of scenery is needed for the Columbus Blue Jackets forward. The former No. 2 overall pick (2016 Draft) had a rough season in Columbus, even being a healthy scratch early on, then heading into the Player Assistance Program later in the season.
