The 2023-24 regular season is finally here, much to the delight of hockey fans. Due to this, we here at NHLTR are starting a series going over each team's best addition and worst subtraction of the summer.In this latest edition of the series, let's take a look at the Seattle Kraken.Best Addition: Kailer YamamotoIt was a quiet offseason for the Kraken, but they did bring in an intriguing forward in Kailer Yamamoto. The former first-round pick had a rough year with the Edmonton Oilers last season, but now he has a change of scenery, and he should have the potential to turn things around because of it. Overall he provides decent secondary scoring, which is something Seattle certainly needs.Worst Subtraction: Daniel SprongThe Kraken lost a solid scorer in Daniel Sprong this offseason to the Detroit Red Wings.
