The Los Angeles Kings sit 31-18-8 on the season, third in the Pacific Division. GM Rob Blake will be aggressive ahead of the trade deadline, with $4.4 million in deadline cap space to work with, and aspirations to land a top-six scoring winger.According to Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos, the Kings could move former second-overall draft pick Quinton Byfield for a win-now piece for their top six. There's been rumours about Brock Boeser from Vancouver, Rickard Rakell from Pittsburgh and Dylan Cozens from the Buffalo Sabres.  The Kings have their first-round pick this season and if they move Byfield, likely won't have to include it. The 22-year-old is laced with untapped potential and his game has evolved so much already throughout his young career. Byfield has recorded 11 goals and 34 points in 57 games this season, after posting 55 points in 80 games last year.Byfield is a strange trade candidate as he just signed a long-term extension last summer. The Newmarket, ON native signed a five-year, $31.25 million extension and while it's certainly a good deal for both sides, it's worth pointing out that Byfield does not have any trade protection on his deal.Don't expect the Kings to just give up on Byfield and move him out to move the money, he's a valued trade candidate throughout the league and any deal he's included in, will be a blockbuster. Boeser to the Kings is certainly gaining steam after the Canucks' forward called out management for their lack of contract extension talks, or interest in him for that matter.Photo credit: © Jason Parkhurst-Imagn Images...
