Winnipeg Jets place forward Marko Dano on waivers as camp opens

Dylan Samberg talked about his excitement at the opportunity to take part in his first NHL training camp with the Winnipeg Jets, and his mindset heading into things. The Winnipeg Jets have placed forward Marko Dano on waivers, while the Chicago Blackhawks have done the same with forward Zack Smith. Dano, 26, signed with the Jets as a free agent in November. He appeared in three games with the Columbus Blue Jackets and 46 with the AHL's Cleveland Monsters in 2019-20.
