Carson Soucy's Canucks Debut to Be Delayed Significantly Due To Injury
A tough break for the Vancouver Canucks as one of their significant offseason additions, Carson Soucy, will be on the sidelines for some time to start the season. The 29-year-old left-shot D-man was signed to a three-year, $9.75M contract in free agency this summer, with a $3.25M cap hit. For as long as Soucy is out, the Canucks will be challenged to shore up their defensive pairings. Another left-shot blueliner, Guillaume Brisebois, is already hurting and won't make the opening day lineup.
