In the second game of their two game series against the Montreal Canadiens, the Winnipeg Jets are looking to continue what they have going for them against the Habs. It might not be as easy as it sounds as Paul Maurice is dead set on dressing a sub-optimal lineup night in and night out. At one point Nathan Beaulieu was a good NHL defender. That point was before Michel Therrien really sunk his teeth into him and that ship has sailed. Anyways, I don’t think Beaulieu is the reason why Josh Morrissey has been struggling for years, but he is also not helping the situation.
Now, onto the game itself. It is at 9:00 pm because god forbid Sportsnet does not have a late game. This game makes no sense at 9:00 pm. Good luck to my friends my eastern friends who now have to stay up until 10:00 PM to see their team struggle. It is funny to me that there are all these takes about the Habs firing their coach when their own fans thought it was time for Claude Julien to go. Anyways, this was a very ranty preview. It is going to be a late one kids and we can all fall asleep watching a game together. ...
