New York Islanders Announce Trio of Signings
The New York Islanders continue to do business their way as the team announced they have re-signed a trio of players. Forward Kieffer Bellows, and defensemen Noah Dobson and Alexander Romanov all received new deals.Let's start on D where Dobson and Romanov both agreed to three-year contracts. Romanov will make $2.5 million per season. The Russian defenseman was acquired from the Montreal Canadiens earlier this summer.© Eric Bolte-USA TODAY SportsDobson signed for $4 million annually, after he enjoyed a breakout season and appears to be on his way to being one of the best defensemen in the league. Last season he set career marks with 80 games, 51 points and averaged over 21 minutes of ice-time a night.As for Bellows, the young forward will earn $1.2 million per season according to multiple reports.
