The New Jersey Devils had a fantastic 2022-23 season. Not only did they finish with 112 points and challenge the Carolina Hurricanes for first place in the Metropolitan Division, but they also set a franchise record for wins with 52. That was a reason why the Devils had the potential to take a significant jump forward this season.
