Ever since Sidney Crosby went down after an elbow to the head in the second period of Game 5, Pittsburgh Penguins fans have been holding their breath about his status for Game 6 against the New York Rangers. This morning, the bad news was in.Sidney Crosby has been ruled out for Game 6, per Mike Sullivan. He will NOT play in Game 6 Friday night. Mike DeFabo of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports that he'll join No. 1 goaltender Tristan Jarry and top D-man Brian Dumoulin on the sidelines. Crosby had been on fire in the series, with 9 points through the first 5 games, his best playoff performance in four years. The last time Crosby missed a playoff game was in 2017.
