Although this is the case, we still could see teams sign players to contract extensions. As a result, we here at NHLTR will be going over three contract extension candidates from each team.In this latest edition of the series, the Philadelphia Flyers will be the team focused on.Cam YorkYork is an important part of the Flyers' future, so he is standing out as a prime extension candidate. The pending restricted free agent is currently on the Flyers' top pairing and penalty kill, so the Flyers will surely be looking to keep the 2019 first-round pick around. In 54 games this season, the 24-year-old has four goals, 14 points, and 108 blocks. Tyson FoersterFoerster is another Flyers pending restricted free agent who is due for his next contract. The 2020 first-round pick will certainly be getting a raise from his current $863,334 cap hit, as he has blossomed into a key part of Philadelphia's forward group. In 68 games this season, the 6-foot-2 forward has 16 goals and 30 points. Noah CatesCates is another Flyer who is a contract extension candidate. The pending restricted free agent is having a solid season with the Metropolitan Division club, as he has a career-high 14 goals to go along with 28 points and a plus-2 rating in 65 games.
