NHL Rumors: Oilers' First Round Draft Pick Set To Make NHL Debut in Game 4

As the Edmonton Oilers attempt to avoid being swept in a series for the second time in two seasons, it looks like they will turn to their young talent to inject some life into the team. Dylan Holloway appears to be scheduled to make his NHL debut for the Oilers in Game 4 in Edmonton per Frank Seravalli.Holloway was the Oilers' first round pick in 2020, going 14th overall. He dealt with an injury that limited him to just 33 games in the AHL this season. He may have made the Oilers out of training camp, but unfortunately suffered a wrist injury that required a second surgery on it.When Holloway was set to return to action, he was practicing with the Oilers before ultimately being sent down to finish the season with Bakersfield of the AHL. In 33 games, he scored eight goals and 22 points after taking a bit of time to adjust to the game and get up to speed after his injury. He closed out the AHL playoffs with two goals and four points in five games and joined a number of players called up to the Oilers once their season ended.Evander Kane will miss Game 4 as he serves his one-game suspension, while Kailer Yamamoto is expected to be out of the lineup again with an injury suffered from a Gabriel Landeskog hit. Brad Malone pulled into the lineup in Game 3 while the Oilers went with 11 forwards and seven defencemen.
