*To the surprise of pretty much no one, Shayne Gostisbehere cleared waivers yesterday afternoon. [BSH]
*Brian Elliott, who started again last night, was hoping that first narrow victory in Buffalo would be a wakeup call for his teammates. Not sure anything will be a wakeup call for these boys this season. [Inquirer]
