NHL Trade Rumors: 3 Philadelphia Flyers Offseason Trade Candidates

1 week ago  /  NHL Trade Rumors

The Philadelphia Flyers will be a team to pay very close attention to this offseason. They are still rebuilding, so they are still determining which players they view as long-term fits on their roster. They made multiple trades this season because of it, and more should be on the way this summer.Due to this, let's go over three Flyers who could be moved this upcoming summer. Rasmus RistolainenRistolainen was the subject of trade rumors all season, but a move did not occur at the deadline. However, he certainly has the potential to generate some interest this offseason, as teams are always on the hunt for big right-shot defenseman. This is especially so if the Flyers are open to retaining a portion of his $5.1 million cap hit until the end of the 2026-27 season. Noah CatesCates could be a Flyer to watch this summer. The 26-year-old forward is a pending restricted free agent, and he could get dealt if the Flyers do not view him as a long-term part of their future. He also could generate interest, as he has had a solid 2024-25 season. In 75 games, he has scored a career-high 15 goals and recorded 35 points. Bobby Brink The Flyers are loaded with wingers, so it is fair to wonder if that could make Brink expendable for the right price. The pending restricted free agent has been solid this season, posting 11 goals and 38 points in 76 games. However, he could be a decent trade chip for the Flyers to dangle to improve their roster elsewhere.photo credit: © Kyle Ross-Imagn Images...
