Montreal Canadiens Forward Undergoes Season-Ending Surgery
The Montreal Canadiens continue to be snakebit by the injury bug this season. He'll join no less than eight Habs on injured reserve. Other centers out of the lineup include Kirby Dach, Sean Monahan, and Jake Evans.The Canadiens acquired Dvorak from the Arizona Coyotes after the 2020-21 season. He's still under contract through the 2024-25 season with an AAV of $4.45 million.This season has seen Dvorak perform under expectations, as he has just 10 goals and 18 assists for 28 points in about 17 minutes of ice time per game, across 64 contests. His time on the penalty kill has increased, however, as he'd taken on more of a defensive role this season.
