Who will score Colorado’s first goal in the 2024-25 season?

Make your predictions now! Opening night of the 2024-25 Colorado Avalanche season is almost upon us and in anticipation of that first goal — leading to hopefully the first win — of the season, let us guess who will score that all-important first tally.
Last year 19 of you (9%) correctly predicted it would be the dogg himself Nathan MacKinnon scoring the first goal of the season against the LA Kings en route to a 5-2 victory, which was also a perfect start to MacKinnon’s first Hart Trophy campaign.
Will we see MacKinnon do it again? Or is a perfect debut on the horizon and one of the young guns score their first NHL goal? How about an unexpected first tally from one of the bottom six forwards?
