Perreault played 13 NHL seasons between the Washington Capitals who selected him in the sixth round of the 2006 draft, the Anaheim Ducks, Winnipeg Jets and Montreal Canadiens. His best seasons came as a Jet, where he recorded a career-high 45 points in 65 games back in 2016-17. Perreault appeared in 708 NHL games and another 51 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
