NY Rangers Sign Another Mammoth Prospect in 6'7" Forward
The New York Rangers made a "big" splash this season when they brought Matt Rempe's 6'7", 240-pound frame into their lineup. His monstrous presence is felt for pretty much all of the five or so minutes he spends on the ice each game. Imagine adding yet another imposing 6'7" forward into the mix, but one with more skill. He also sported a plus/minus rating of +23. He added a team-high 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points in 21 OHL playoff games.The 204-pounder doesn't fill out his 6'7" frame quite the same way that Rempe does, but is nevertheless an imposing figure on the ice. He is said to be a good skater and puckhandler as well for his size. Roobroeck now joins the Hartford Wolf Pack immediately on an amateur tryout (ATO) for the rest of the AHL playoffs.
