Canadiens' Xhekaj on Senators' Tkachuk: 'Going to beat the crap out of him'
Montreal Canadiens defenseman Arber Xhekaj wants a piece of Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk.The Senators host the Canadiens on Saturday night as the NHL resumes its schedule after the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament and expect to see some fireworks. Xhekaj spoke to reporters prior to Saturday's game and didn't mince his words. "I'm going to confront him. I'm going to go straight to him. I'm going to beat the crap out of him. I don't care," Xhekaj told TVA Sports, as translated by Postmedia's Bruce Garrioch. "I want to make his life (miserable). I want his evening to be painful. What I give him must be stronger than what he gives."Xhekaj may have to wait though, as Tkachuk played through an injury in the final against Canada and is a game-time decision for Saturday's contest. The two players fought during the preseason after the Canadiens' blueliner leveled Tim Stutzle.All eyes in Ottawa on Saturday night.
