It's finally done. The Detroit Red Wings have locked up their final, and biggest restricted free agent, signing defenseman Moritz Seider to a 7-year, $8.55 million AAV contract. He's topped the 40-point mark in all three of his seasons, while taking on a huge workload for a young d-man, averaging nearly 23 minutes of ice time per game, and playing in each and every one of the 82 contests in each season. In 2023-24, he potted 9 goals to go with 33 assists for 42 points. That leaves just four RFAs unsigned as camps get underway: Jeremy Swayman with the Boston Bruins, Cole Perfetti of the Winnipeg Jets, the New Jersey Devils' Dawson Mercer and Nikita Alexandrov of the St. Louis Blues.Photo: © Rick Osentoski-Imagn Images...
