Ovechkin was the top-selling player across all sports while the Capitals were the best-selling team across all sports
7 of the top 10 selling products across the entire fanatics network were related to the record-breaking moment
Shirts, hats, hoodies, signed photos and pucks, and a Fanatics exclusive Funko all sold briskly. Several items sold out on the same day, including the red locker room hat that Capitals players wore once Ovechkin scored carer goal number 895....
