Oilers sign forward Xavier Bourgault to entry-level contract
Xavier Bourgault shoots a puck during a practice at the Canadian World Junior Hockey Championships selection camp in Calgary, Alta. This season, the 19-year-old forward has 26 goals and 25 assists through 31 games with the QMJHL's Shawinigan Cataractes. Bourgault played one game for Canada at the 2022 world junior hockey championships before taking a hard hit in the team's opener against Czechia.
