There is a ton of talk about who the Toronto Maple Leafs should be targeting to help finally propel them past the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Can the Maple Leafs win the bidding war for these players; and, even if they did, would the final price be an overpay for what they get? Maple Leafs general manager has stated many times that he does not like to spend assets on rental players. Even in his early 30s, could he become a valuable player at both ends of the ice for the Maple Leafs?
