TRADE: Sabres Acquire Ryan McLeod From Oilers
The Buffalo Sabres have bolstered their roster by acquiring forward Ryan McLeod from the Edmonton Oilers, as reported by Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman. McLeod, 24, was a second-round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft and has established himself as a reliable player over four seasons with the Oilers, contributing 32 goals and 75 points in 219 NHL games. Known for his exceptional speed and high energy in the offensive zone, McLeod's addition brings valuable depth and experience to the Sabres' middle and bottom-six forward groups. Despite his smaller stature (5-foot-9, 179lbs), Savoie has demonstrated exceptional playmaking skills and offensive prowess in the WHL. This past season, he racked up an impressive 19 goals and 28 assists for 47 total points across 23 games played with Moose Jaw.
