Predators Place Defenseman On Waivers
The Nashville Predators have placed Philippe Myers on waivers. This development is very notable, as Myers was one of the main pieces that the Predators acquired from the Philadelphia Flyers in the Ryan Ellis trade. However, his place on Nashville's depth chart has fallen, and he has been healthy scratched numerous times this campaign. In 27 games on the year, he has one goal, three assists, and a plus-5 rating. He also has been active in the physical side of the game, as he has an impressive 50 hits. However, his play has not impressed the Predators enough to keep him in the lineup, and now they are making him available via waivers. Myer could certainly attract some other teams, as he is a 6-foot-5, right-handed defenseman who is two seasons removed from a 16-point campaign in 50 games. However, he also carries a $2.55 million cap hit until the end of the 2022-23 season, so that also could keep teams away. Photo Credit: © Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports...
