Canadian women's hockey team to be honoured at Heritage Classic
The Olympic gold medal-winning Canadian women's hockey team will be honoured at the 2022 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic on March 13. In front of a sold-out Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton, members of Team Canada will be presented to celebrate their gold medal performance from the 2022 Beijing Winter Games as well as their victory at the 2021 World Championship. The Toronto Maple Leafs will take on the Buffalo Sabres in the NHL's sixth Heritage Classic live on Sportsnet at 4 Canadian country singer-songwriter Lindsey Ell will sing the Canadian and American national anthems, accompanied by Toronto Sign Language interpreters Azad Najfi and Matt Tell.
