Preview: Wrapping up the three-game road trip against the Habs

Colorado wraps up their little three-game road trip through Canada tonight against the Montreal Canadiens.
After playing a back-to-back against Toronto and Ottawa, the Colorado Avalanche finishes their little three-game trip tonight as they take on the Montreal Canadiens. This will be the second and final matchup between these two teams for the regular season.

Colorado Avalanche
The Avs come into this game off a big game against the Ottawa Senators, which saw them win by a final score of 5-1. After an unlucky outcome against Toronto, the performance against Ottawa was exactly the one that you wanted Colorado to have in response to that outcome.
Tonight, they look to end this little road trip on a high note against the Montreal Canadiens, who have won six of their last ten games, and currently occupy the second wild card spot in the Eastern Conference.

As previously mentioned, the Montreal Canadiens have been rolling a bit as of late, as they’ve won six out of their last ten games and currently occupy the second wild card spot in the East. Given how many teams are currently pushing to make the playoffs in that conference currently, the Habs will certainly be keen on winning tonight to help them secure a playoffs spot.
