Forward Adam Gaudette has signed a one-year, two-way contract extension with the St. Louis Blues, solidifying his place on the team's roster. While he didn't see NHL action during that time, his performance demonstrated promise for the upcoming season.The new contract provides flexibility for Gaudette to play in both the NHL and AHL, with varying salaries based on the league. This arrangement allows him to compete for a fourth-line role on the Blues, while also offering the opportunity for development and ice time in the minors.Throughout his NHL career, Gaudette has accumulated 27 goals and 43 assists in 218 games. In the 2021-22 season, he played for the Ottawa Senators, contributing four goals and eight assists in 50 games. Since joining the Springfield Thunderbirds, he has continued to make an impact with seven goals and 10 assists in 25 games.
