Four-Year Contract For Pavel Buchnevich In St. Louis
ST. LOUIS - Pavel Buchnevich, who was acquired by the St. Louis Blues on Friday in a trade with the New York Rangers, has agreed to terms on a four-year, $23.2 million contract with the Blues.
Buchnevich, 26, was acquired from the Rangers in exchange for Sammy Blais and a second-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft.
The 6-foot-3, 196-pound forward had spent his entire five-year career with New York, recording 195 points (79 goals, 116 assists) and 112 penalty minutes in 301 regular-season games.
The Cherepovets, Russia native was originally drafted by the Rangers in the third round, No. 75 overall, of the 2013 NHL Draft....
