NHL Rumors: Rangers and Canadiens Could Provide Blockbuster Deal
The Montreal Canadiens have started their fire sale and rumor has plenty of more trades coming down the pipe from their new management duo of Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton. While Hughes comes from the player/agent side of the game, Gorton joined Montreal with a long history in the New York Rangers organization and wouldn't you know the two could be working on a huge trade.Keep an eye on the Rangers and the Habs between now and March 21. Rangers' pipeline drawing Habs interest— Pierre LeBrun (@PierreVLeBrun) February 16, 2022Names to watch here include defenseman Ben Chiarot and forwards Cedric Paquette and Artturi Lehkonen, meanwhile the Rangers are dangling Russian prospect Vitali Kravtsov, former second-round pick Matthew Robertson and backup netminder Alexandar Georgiev.
