Red Wings acquire goaltender Husso from Blues, quickly agree to new contract

The have acquired goaltender from the for a third-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, the team announced Friday, just prior to the beginning of the second round. Husso, a pending unrestricted free agent, has signed a three-year deal with the Red Wings after the trade, the team said. Originally drafted by the Blues in the fourth round, 94th overall, of the 2014 NHL Draft, Husso spent two seasons in St. Louis. Husso had save percentage in 40 games with the Blues this season, while also making seven playoff appearances....
